30 minute diagnostic ultrasound for men, detailed imaging of the abdomen.
Diagnostic Ultrasound Scans for Men
Kidneys, Bladder & Prostate Scan | pre-scan preparation required
30 minute diagnostic ultrasound for men, detailed imaging of the kidneys, bladder and prostate when visible.
Pelvic Scan | pre-scan preparation required
30 minute diagnostic ultrasound for men, detailed imaging of the pelvis to include prostate, seminal vessicles and lower abdominal quadrants.
Superficial Soft Tissue | no preparation required
30 minute diagnostic ultrasound, detailed imaging of the subcutaneous superficial tissues and deeper underlying musculature of the affected area
Testes and Scrotum | no preparation required
30 minute diagnostic ultrasound of the testes and scrotum, detailed imaging of the testes, scrotum and groin areas.
Liver Doppler Scan | pre-scan preparation & fasting required
1 hour minute appointment for men, detailed scan of the hepatic vasculature.
Mesenteric Doppler Scan | pre-scan preparation & fasting required
1 hour appointment for men, detailed scan of the Aorta, celiac and SMA arteries.
Lower Extremety Arterial Doppler | no preparation required
1 hour appointment for men, detailed scan of the upper or lower extremeties.
Renal Arterial & Venous Scan | pre-scan preparation & fasting required
1 hour appointment for men, detailed scan of the kidneys, aorta, renal arteries and veins.
Abdominal Aorta Scan | pre-scan preparation & fasting required
15 minute appointment for men from 45 years of age, screening for abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA).
Musculoskeletal | Shoulder & Upper Arm
20 minute appointment. A detailed scan of the rotator cuff and associated connective tissues, musculature / soft tissues.
Carotid Scan | no preparation required
30 minute appointment for men from 45 years of age, detailed scan of common, internal and external carotid arteries.
Musculoskeletal | Elbow & Forearm
30 minute appointment. A detailed scan of the elbow and associated ligaments, tendons, musculature / soft tissues.
Musculoskeletal | Wrist & Hand
30 minute appointment. A detailed scan of the small joints of the wrist and hand, associated ligaments, tendons, musculature and soft tissues.
Vascular Stroke Screening | pre-scan preparation & fasting required
1 hour appointment for men from 45 years of age, scans tests for assessment of stroke risk, includes abdominal aorta, carotid and lower extremeties.
Musculoskeletal | Hip & Upper Thigh
30 minute appointment. A detailed scan of the hip joint and associated tendons, musculature and soft tissues.
Musculoskeletal | Ankle & Foot
30 minute appointment. A detailed scan of the small joints of the ankle and foot, associated, ligaments, tendons, musculature and soft tissues.
30 minute appointment. A detailed scan of the knee joint, ligaments, tendons and associated musculature / soft tissues.
