This is not a replacement for the complete diagnostic ultrasound by your physician to confirm your due date, assess for fetal anomalies or medical issues. 3D-4D ultrasounds are not covered by insurance. We are an out-of-network provider.

We are a dedicated imaging team of medical professionals partnering with obstetricians, midwives and nurse practicioners to provide an avenue for patient requested 3D-4D prenatal ultrasounds. MYULTRASOUND is not part of any franchise. We are independently owned and operated giving us the flexibility to provide "unique services" unlike any other in the DFW area. Our 3D-4D Maternal Welfare & Morphology Assessment Ultrasounds are primarily intended to enhance parental bonding and reassurance. In addition, offer the clinician a limited evaluation of the morphology of the fetus and uterus. We make an extraordinary effort to provide the medical community an exceptable and appropriate avenue for prenatal 3D ultrasound request's. We do not offer gimmick pricing, daily specials or holiday gimmicks. Your pregnancy is a serious matter and should be handled responsibly. 3D-4D ultrasound scans should offer medical benefits and not be solely for aesthetic purposes.

We perform a limited diagnostic ultrasound examination for your provider. All diagnostic obstetrical ultrasounds include a 3D assessment for maternal bonding and wellbeing.

MYULTRASOUND adheres to state, local laws and regulations by

"Fetal ultrasound are only performed only for medical purposes with a prescription from an appropriately licensed provider (or their designated healthcare provider), performed by a licensed sonographer, studies are supervised and interpreted by a radiologist with results communicated to the ordering physician. This maintains Physician oversight (a physician-patient relationship) thus avoiding unnecessary follow-up tests or added cost of care."

Our 3D-4D Parental Bonding Sessions and our Maternal 2D Sessions are limited to 30 minutes to allow for proper bonding time. We ensure that the minimum ultrasound exposure levels are strictly adhered to and that the policy of ‘no direct scanning time beyond published guidelines’ is followed. All scans operate within established guidelines for mechanical indices and thermal exposure times.

Clinicians recieve a detailed ultrasound report interpreted by a board certified radiologist on every patient we scan. We provide families with a friendly and comfortable environment for a unique ultrasound experience.

All ultrasounds are performed by registered ARDMS® sonographers. Our team consist of sonographers who aquired many years of technical experience in their field and are dedicated to ongoing education and patient care. We adhere to a strict set of safety guidelines, maintain an ongoing QA program. This assures our customers and the medical community that we practice responsible and safe 3D/4D imaging.

Over the past few years there have been reports in various medical journals that 3D ultrasound scans have both psychological benefits and promote maternal wellbeing. We believe that following a 4D Ultrasound the mother´s care of herself and the care of her baby may improve. Expectant mothers may be more inclined to eat healthier, be more careful in day-to-day activities and reduce habits such as alcohol and tobacco intake

Please note that our 3D-4D ultrasound services can only be performed on pregnant women who are under the care of a physician. MYULTRASOUND requires that a complete medical, diagnostic ultrasound be completed prior to requesting your 3D/4D ultrasound. We perform limited diagnostic ultrasounds as specifically requested by your physician. However, if we are suspicious of a possible abnormality, your doctor will be notified.
