Pre-scan preparation

8 hours of fasting required.

No breakfast if morning appointment / no lunch for afternoon

appointment. Clear fluids including black tea or coffee are allowed.

For diabetics maintain food intake but avoid fatty or dairy products.

Maintain normal medication.
